Hello World

"The less there is to justify a traditional custom, the harder it is to get rid of it" ― Mark Twain

Hello world. If you're a geek like me, this probably isn't the first time you've heard that phrase. It's one of those common test phrases that we like to use to test out a system or when learning a new programming language and it's just kind of stuck over the years. Why? Who knows? But stuck it has. So following that tradition, I'm just going to put that right here for the first post on W3Geek. As to what W3Geek is going to turn into over time, your guess is as good as mine. I figured I'd use it as a platform to talk about things important to me, document some travels and share some of my recommendations on places to go and things to do. My wife and I have individually been to all 50 states plus DC, and so far my 10 year old daughter has been to 18 states. We're working on checking the rest of them off for her as well.

In the meantime, stay tuned right here for blog posts on all sorts of stuff - from technology to travel, I'll be filling up some blocks of a hard drive somewhere with my ramblings. Enjoy!
